A synchronistic sighting?

Some people might find this story about a bloke who reckons aliens landed in Oz yonks back and created humanity quite bizarre.  I find it spooky as well. 

See, a few years ago I wrote and performed a comedy show based on an eerily similar premise.

See that line below the picture: "I am, you are, we are Australien."  I sang those exact words in the show.  (Not claiming plagiarism, BTW.  The gag just leaps out of the content.  You know, kind of like "Storm in a D-Cup" as the title for every story about controversy over breast enlargement.)

Was my stumbling upon this article a mere coincidence? Or is the universe trying to tell me something?  If so, what?
