Brad Renfro is the latest young Hollywood actor to die from a drug overdose. When I read his name in the paper I remembered him instantly. He was in Apt Pupil, a fascinating movie about an old Nazi's relationship with a boy.
Sir Ian Mckellen was the Nazi (brilliant, as always). Here are his thoughts on his young co-star's passing.
