Interesting how very unlikely events seem to occur in clusters. Examples include the almost simultaneous violent deaths of those two Aussie legends Peter Brock and Steve Irwin. Then there are those shark attacks, which always seem to come in threes.
Here's the latest manifestation of this phenomenon: Two people on oppposite sides of the globe have overdosed on caffeine.
A tangential thought: The Aussie bloke, a carpenter, nearly bought the farm from imbibing way too much Red Bull.
Sounds unpleasant. Still, it's not nearly as chilling as the thought of spiritual death by that other kind of "red bull", communist dogma. The most disturbing aspect of it is that its many victims appear to be alive. But while their hearts keep beating, their souls sleep with the fishes. Even a mega-hit of the other kind of red bull can't wake 'em!
Poor bastards.
UPDATE: Overly sensitive Derek Sapphire (not so much a red bull as a pink pussy) feels violated by this post.
