Cousins catastrophe is inevitable, I reckon

Here's the latest instalment in the Ben Cousins saga:

Turns out he hasn't blown it completely; several clubs are still interested in recruiting him if he kicks his addictions.

But the loyalty people feel for him and their willingness to cut him slack have a time limit.  The bloke is 29.  His athleticism will wane increasingly in the years ahead.  Consequently, so will the support. 

Not a great scenario for someone with so many inner demons.
