Feminists, the sheik and Michael Leunig

Via Tim Blair I've learned that Michael Leunig has expressed a kind of oblique solidarity with the misogynous mufti through a new cartoon.

Subtext is interesting, eh?  You'd think it would enrage feminists, wouldn't you?  (It's not like Leunig himself is off-limits, after all.  Remember the almighty ruckus that cartoon of the sad-sack sproglet in child-care caused?) 

But on this one haughty hoydens and hatchet-faced harpies have mostly remained, er, mum.  Islam is feminist, you see.
