Feminists will fume over this

When I first read the words "stunt foetus" on the Google News page I thought this was a story about some bizarre IVF project involving thawed-out sperm from Evel Knievel.

Needless to say my interpretation was incorrect. 

But re the article's true gist (that the burning of fossil fuels can inhibit the growth of bubs-to-be): I can imagine ferndie feminist types being riled by this revelation.  Ironic when you consider that most would also be vociferously pro-choice.  Yep, as far as they're concerned you can kill 'em but you just can't shrink 'em!

Which would make any baby born to one of them a survivor against the odds, a danger-sprog ... a "stunt foetus".

Hmmm.  Maybe my initial misreading was pertinent after all.
