Oils deaf to Cole

So members of Midnight Oil are annoyed that there doesn't seem to be much musical activism of late. 

Depends where you look (or rather, listen).  If you turn your ears away from the strident sqawking of your fellow politically correct hepcats, you will find some real "complaint rock".  This song by Beccy Cole is an example. 

It's certainly a refreshing change from the dreary "musical" tub-thumping of outdated oldsters like Peter Garrett and Rob Hirst.  I call that compliant rock.
