Roo farts to the rescue!

Here's another story illustrating the extreme eco-paranoia sweeping the west:

Seems that the humble kangaroo has a Gaia-friendly gut full of ultra-green bacteria so it produces pristine, methane free farts.  Crazed boffins are trying to get livestock -- huge greenhouse gas producers -- to emulate the roo in this regard. 

Well, if they're gonna do it, good luck to them, I say!  While they're at it they should remember that greenies themselves, with their lentil rich diets, are also serious greenhouse gas emitters.  So, when these scientists have sussed how to transform sheep guts they should do the same to greenies as well. 

Or why not just cull them instead?  That'd be easier -- and heaps of fun to watch.
